Celebrating Excellence: Coding Lab Students Triumph at the National Olympiad in Informatics (NOI) 2026!

Presenting our NOI 2026 winners!

The results are in, and we are overflowing with pride! Our #CodingLabStudents have once again shone brightly at the National Olympiad in Informatics (NOI) 2026, bringing home an incredible haul of medals:

  • 🥇 1 Gold Medal (3rd Runner-Up Overall!)

  • 🥈 1 Silver Medal

  • 🥉 3 Bronze Medals

Organised annually by the National University of Singapore (NUS), the NOI is widely regarded as Singapore’s most prestigious and rigorous computing competition for secondary and junior college students. Participants are pushed to their absolute limits, tackling complex algorithmic challenges and advanced problem-solving scenarios under strict, high-pressure competition conditions.

Behind the Medals: Dedication, Grit, and Logic

What makes this achievement so meaningful isn't just the awards; it’s the relentless effort behind it. Reaching the podium at NOI requires months of grueling practice, deep logical thinking, and the ability to stay composed when solving intricate algorithmic problems under tight time constraints.

Seeing our students step up to the challenge, apply their computational foundations, and execute their strategies with precision is what inspires us every day.

From Curious 8-Year-Old to National Champion 🏆

We also want to shine a special spotlight on this year’s NOI 2026 Champion, Justin Ling!

Justin is a proud Coding Lab alumnus who began his coding journey with us at just 8 years old. While he trained with us until 2021 before continuing his advanced journey with other fantastic mentors in the computing community, watching him transform from a curious young child into a national champion has been deeply inspiring for all of us.

We are honored to have helped contribute to his the strong foundation in logical thinking and computational logic that sparked his competitive drive early on, and we applaud everyone who played a part in his incredible trajectory to the top spot in Singapore! 💚

Building the Next Generation of Tech Leaders

To all our 2026 medalists and participants: Congratulations! Your hard work, passion, and resilience have paid off in a big way, and we can’t wait to see where your coding journeys take you next. 🚀

Whether our students are just writing their first lines of code at age 5 or tackling Olympic-level data structures as teenagers, our goal at Coding Lab remains the same: to nurture confident, creative problem-solvers who can make a real impact on the world.

Ready to Begin Your Own Winning Journey? Whether you're aiming for medal glory at top national competitions or preparing a standout portfolio for Direct School Admission (DSA), Coding Lab provides the award-winning curriculum and expert guidance to help your child excel.

Check out our proprietary Python Meets Math course, which incorporates O and A-Level Mathematics for ages 13 to 18 to pick up one of the most versatile programming languages. We also have Advanced Elective courses, which includes Data Analytics, Algorithm, Game Development, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for Secondary school and Junior College students.
