On April 19, 2026, our co-founder, Candice Wang, was featured in The Straits Times for her insights on DSA preparation.
With more than a decade of building Coding Lab®, we’re grateful to have supported our students closely in their DSA journeys. Last year alone, our students received close to 20 DSA offers across STEM, Innovation, and more, with offers from schools such as NUS High School of Mathematics and Science, Hwa Chong Institution, Raffles Girls' School, and the School of Science and Technology!
The article highlights an important point in DSA for STEM. As shared by our co-founder,
“Students are encouraged to notice technology in their backyard, such as installations at a light festival, so as to be comfortable talking about tech and its applications. Group competitions and interviews are common, so it’s not only about how well you code, but also what kind of person you are.”
Step into our classrooms, and you’ll see it in action. Students are not just coding quietly behind screens. They are brainstorming ideas, applying design thinking, building real solutions, and standing in front of their peers to present their work, learning how to express their thinking with clarity and confidence.
We’re also grateful to mentor our students beyond the DSA phase, supporting them early in building strong portfolios. Many have gone on to excel on global stages like the MIT AI Education Summit, rank among the top 1 to 2% nationally, and be featured in 20 Under 20.
Grateful for the journey, and excited to continue raising the bar in STEM while empowering the next generation of tech leaders. 💙
