Fun Techtivities in April!

Want to find something new to do over the Easter holidays or the weekends this April? We have compiled various #Techtivities where you can enjoy time with friends and family while having fun discovering the wonders of technology at the same time!

Starting with some #TechNews, we can now cultivate brain cells ourselves with new technology originating from our very own Singapore!

Using brain cells cultivated from stem cells in petri dishes 🧫, Dishbrain works like a mini-brain 🧠, able to perform tasks like any other computer chip! It was able to learn how to play Pong 🏓 by recognising patterns, just as our cells respond to the environment. Dishbrain was created by Singapore start-up Cortical Labs, and hopes to be able to use these chips to develop effective medicinal treatments 💊 and study diseases 😷, among other innovations--without the use of animals. Read more about Cortical Labs here, or check out the article here!

Now that we’re all set, keep scrolling on to discover techtivities that you and your family can indulge in this month! ✨
