Lau Rei Yan Abigail, 12, presents her Python coding project ‘Scissors Paper Stone’ for Coding Lab’s International Coding Showcase 2022.
"My project was based on a game that I like to play with my friends --- ‘Scissors, Paper, Stone’. I was inspired to create this game as I wanted to put a fresh twist to this traditional game played by children from many generations. Many of such games are lost in the midst of online games. I hope by designing this game, more young people would be introduced to this game and would pick it up again and enjoy this as much as I have! " - Lau Rei Yan Abigail

Aang Winston Angkasa, 11, Singapore | Advanced Computer Scientists Project Showcase | ICS 2022
Aang Winston Angkasa, 11, presents his Python coding project ‘Sleep Tracker v2.1’ for Coding Lab’s International Coding Showcase 2022.
"Sleep Tracker v2.1 can record and give feedback about the user's sleep throughout 7 days. It can also warn the user if he is over sleeping or not sleeping enough. The sleep tracker can also plot tables and bar graphs based on the data the user input." - Aang Winston Angkasa

Zachary Wong, 9, presents his Scratch coding project ‘Number Burst’ for Coding Lab’s International Coding Showcase 2022.
"This game is about clicking numbers to burst them. When a number is burst, it increases the numbers around it by itself. If a number becomes bigger than nine it gets reduced by ten. Try to get the highest score!" - Zachary Wong

David Xu, 7, Singapore | Young Computer Scientists Project Showcase | ICS 2022
David Xu, 7, presents his Scratch coding project ‘Dandelion Game for Coding Lab’s International Coding Showcase 2022.
"My game is designed to help children learn about the life cycle of plants in a fun way. I created the game because I love science and want to share my interest with others. Follow the instructions and answer the questions to help the dandelion grow. If you enter the wrong answer, the game encourages you to try again. Have fun playing!" - David Xu

#CodingLabStudents: Wang Jun Min, 13, NUS High School of Math and Science
Meet Jun Min, our avid coder and Secondary One student currently studying in his dream school, NUS High School of Math and Science, which he entered through Direct School Admission (DSA). As one of Coding Lab's earlier students (he started when he was barely 7 years old), we catch up with him since his previous blog feature.
You may also recognise him when he won 2nd Place in our International Coding Showcase 2020 Ages 10-12 (Scratch) category and 3rd Place in our Young Coders' Global Hackathon 2020 in the Junior Category (Ages 7-12).
